Cheryl Davis & Associates to host Lake Las Vegas open house tour

More than two dozen luxury-home properties for sale within Lake Las Vegas Resort will be open for tours this afternoon at an event hosted by Cheryl Davis & Associates.

The Lake Las Vegas Open House Extravaganza, which runs from 1 to 4 p.m., will offer guests an opportunity to view 19 homes and six home sites listed by the realty firm within the master-planned resort community. A team of agents will be on hand to provide information and guided tours.

"It's a unique way of hosting an open house," owner-broker Cheryl Davis said. "We'll organize a series of caravans as people arrive and show them the houses in their price point and interest."

The finished homes run the gamut from production homes along golf course greens to custom homes near the waterfront, and include both single-family homes and condominiums. Prices range from $795,000 to $14.5 million.

The largest, Villina a Vollanta, measures nearly 20,000 square feet. Built by RBM Construction on a 32,234-square-foot lot at 8 Rue Mediterra within the SouthShore community, the home features nine bedrooms and 10 full and five half-baths, as well as a theater, wine-tasting room, pub, library, bandstand, exercise and therapy room and balconies with panoramic views of the lake, Lava Butte and MonteLago Village.

The six home sites available, priced from $895,000 to $1.1 million, offer views of the golf courses, lake, mountains, city and Lava Butte, a distinctive formation north of the community.

All the properties are behind gates and most feature guard-gated access.

In addition to home tours, the event is an opportunity for prospective buyers to learn more about Lake Las Vegas Resort.

"Certainly we're going to show them everything the lakeside resort has to offer," Davis said. "With so much of the infrastructure in place, Lake Las Vegas has become the destination that it was intended to be."

The community combines luxury homes with a destination resort. Built around a private, 320-acre man-made lake, the community features golf courses, Casino MonteLago, the Hyatt Regency, Ritz-Carlton and a marina. In addition, the waterfront MonteLago Village features shops and bistros along cobblestone, pedestrian-only streets. A stage set over the water hosts a variety of concerts.

To reach the home and take part in the open house event, take U.S. Highway 95 to Lake Mead Parkway and drive east, past Boulder Highway.
