Destination Webcam.com has launched Las Vegas' first downtown Webcam, allowing visitors from anywhere in the world to monitor construction progress of juhl, CityMark Development's $167 million mixed-use condominium project, as well as many other projects under development in the downtown area.
"We installed the webcam so that future residents of downtown can see their new homes come to realization as well as explore the new neighborhoods in real time," said Alan Edwards, president of Destination Webcam.com.

"The Webcam allows people who may be considering a move to Las Vegas a chance to view the development as well as get a live glimpse of Las Vegas' excellent weather."
is using this technology in San Diego and Miami, as well as Las Vegas, to promote residential developments and drive sales by virtue of the high traffic levels on its WebCam network.
According to Edwards, the Webcams have a high degree of 'stickiness', enabling users to pan, tilt and zoom the camera and gain visual access of construction in progress, as well as neighborhoods and landscape surrounding the site.
The technology can also be used as a management tool to aid development companies.
By generating a time-lapse record during construction and facilitating communication via e-mail images with user comments, the everyday progress of a project can be tracked.
CityMark Development's juhl project is located at Bonneville Avenue and Third Street in downtown Las Vegas.
