Tierra Bella buyers tout 'upside down' residence

Gil and Christine Fuentes purchased a new home for their family at Tierra Bella, a Lennar neighborhood within The Paseo village in Summerlin. Gil Fuentes said his new home has an "upside down" design.

"It's different and unique," he said. "I have two boys, and we like the fact that it has a loft that is downstairs, so that they're not jumping around making noise. It's just like a loft, although it's not upstairs. There is also additional cabinetry down there."

The couple selected the Sole floor plan, which measures 1,878 square feet. The kitchen, living room, fireplace, master bedroom and guest room are upstairs.

"The stairs are not long, so they're not hard to maneuver," he said. "It gives us a penthouse feel, which is really nice."

"I really liked the kitchen with the balcony upstairs," Christine Fuentes said. "There's a beautiful view."

The residence also has a two-car garage.

The couple were also impressed by the "Everything's Included" program.

"You don't have to add things like the larger molding low-e windows, additional lighting, the phone and the cable in the rooms, and the covered balcony and covered patio," Gil Fuentes said.

Additional two-story floor plans are available.

The Stella measures 1,684 square feet with three bedrooms, 2? baths, and a two-car garage. It is priced from $390,990.

The Luna, at 1,870 square feet, contains three bedrooms and 2? baths. A super master bedroom is optional. A two-car garage is standard. The price starts from $407,990.

To visit, take the Las Vegas Beltway to Charleston Boulevard and exit west. Proceed to Desert Foothills Drive, turn right, then go to Paseo Mist Drive and turn left. The models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when they open at noon.
