Dozens of model homes open at Southern Highlands

There are more than 75 model homes open within The Villages at Southern Highlands, where 15 builders are constructing neighborhoods in the southwestern valley community.

Floor plans range from 1,100 to more than 4,300 square feet.

Home prices start from the $120,000s to the $400,000s.

The 2,300-acre master-planned community comprises more than 40 acres of parks and about 100 acres of open space. The master plan includes the development of bike and jogging trails, public and private schools, and a Village Center with shopping and dining venues.

Southern Highlands is located in the southwestern Las Vegas Valley.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Lake Mead Drive exit and head west. The models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
