Realtors honor Pardee's LandrySPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
Veteran home-building executive Ray Landry has been named Builder of the Year by the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors. The announcement was made last night during the association's annual installation of officers gala at The Regent Las Vegas. Landry, assistant vice president of sales for Pardee Homes Nevada, became president of the Nevada Real Estate Commission in 1997, following his appointment to the commission by former Gov. Bob Miller in 1995. Landry is nearing the completion of his second three-year term. "Ray represents the best of builders in our area," Irene Vogel, executive director of the association, said. "He and Pardee Homes go above and beyond in delivering a top quality product and great customer service, while conducting themselves in the highest professional and ethical manner." Landry is also a founding member of the Southern Nevada Sales and Marketing Council and has served as an officer of the board for 10 community associations. He is a member of the Southern Nevada Home Builders Association and the Association of the Real Estate License Law Officials. In addition, Landry was named "Community Partner of the Year" for 1993-94 by the statewide Nevada Parent Teachers Association. He has been with Pardee since 1972, and has led its local sales force since 1980. The association's new officers are: Joanne Levy, president; Gayle Brown-Fox, president-elect; Lee Barrett, vice president; Patty Kelley, treasurer; Deirdre McGraw Felgar, immediate past president; Lisa Cooper, CI division director; and Gail McQuary, MLS Director. The board of directors is comprised of Harlene Bailey, Honey Borla, Betty Kincaid, Elaine McNamara, Fafie Moore, Beth Nebeker, Linda Rheinberger, Mike West and Irene Vogel.
