Canyon Edge, located on 17 acres in Henderson offers five different home floor plans that range from 3,900 to 5,500 square feet with prices starting at $1.2 million.

"Las Vegas is known for its desert-inspired homes that feature stucco sides and clay roof tiles," sales agent Kenneth Lowman said. "Canyon Edge is offering something new, different and unique -- a contemporary home that raises the standard of modern living to a whole new level for those seeking the ultimate in modern sophistication."

Designed by Graham Downes Architecture Inc. of San Diego in cooperation with local architect Larry Tindall, the homes feature clean, crisp lines, flat roofs, stone work, abundant windows that take advantage of natural light and warm desert colors.

Homes feature granite countertops and travertine tile tubs, sliding walls, state-of-the-art theater rooms, elevators and built-in security cameras.

All 44 homes are set in a terraced fashion and are situated to line only one side of the street, ensuring unobstructed views for every homeowner. The buyer can choose from a variety of outdoor living areas, including courtyards, decks, trellises, pergolas and fully equipped outdoor kitchens.

"It's about more than just building a beautiful home," Lowman said. "We've incorporated some unusual design elements into our homes and our neighborhood that set it apart from everything else out there right now. Canyon Edge is designed to appeal to those who think outside the box."

The neighborhood is located near Green Valley Parkway just south of Interstate 215, the Las Vegas Beltway.
