Urban-suburban lifestyle draws buyers to C2 Lofts complex

Builder promotes dining, recreation opportunities at development

C2 Lofts will provide its homeowners with an innovative concept in loft and residential living that will combine the shopping, dining and recreation opportunities offered by the Summerlin master-planned community with the development's on-site amenities, according to C2 Lofts Managing Director Douglas Crook.

"Nowhere else in the Las Vegas Valley will you find the unique combination of lifestyle attributes offered at C2 Lofts in Summerlin," Crook said.

"This chic lifestyle is attracting upscale singles and couples who are pleased to discover the refreshing change C2 Lofts in Summerlin offers."

Residents of the loft development will have private use of a heated pool, two spas and a proposed fitness center. The development will include an enclosed parking garage and retail shops on the main level of each of the two loft buildings.

Each building will also feature its own landscaped roof garden with fire pit, fireplace, barbecues and lounging area for exclusive use of residents and their guests.

Home buyers at C2 Lofts will receive executive golf club memberships to the Red Rock Country Club, entitling them to year-round use of the golf courses, as well as the clubhouse, sports club, tennis and swimming facilities.

Priced from the $700,000s to $1.2 million, the development will include 100 lofts within two five-story buildings at the southwest corner of the Interstate 215 Las Vegas Beltway and West Charleston Boulevard.

Eight loft designs are offered, ranging to more than 2,800 square feet.

The residences will feature minimalist styling highlighted by exposed ductwork, expansive windows and ceiling heights from 10 to 12 feet in the single-story lofts and 20-feet in the two-story lofts. Each loft will feature a private outdoor terrace with views of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area's Spring Mountains and the Las Vegas Valley.

Stainless steel appliances, upgraded cabinetry, granite countertops and Kohler plumbing fixtures are standard amenities. Buyers may customize with additional features such as fireplaces, brick wall treatments and various flooring and stone countertop options.

Each buyer receives consultation with a C2 Lofts Design Center professional.

According to Crook, nearly all of the lofts in the first building are now sold and those who purchase in the final phase of building can still take advantage of pre-model-opening pricing. For buyers not requiring a timely move-in, values are available in the recently released first phase of lofts in the second and final building.

Prospective buyers can tour the lofts under construction in the first building.

"We are offering these private tours to give our prospective buyers a real sense of the architectural drama and volume these lofts offer, as well as the panoramic views they will enjoy from a wide variety of vantage points at C2 Lofts in Summerlin," Crook said.

"Our tours, however, are in demand at this point in time and must be scheduled by appointment only at our C2 Lofts Preview Center, which also features a professionally decorated and furnished modeled loft."

The development is located in proximity to the Red Rock Station Casino, as well as to the planned Summerlin Centre, a mixed-use development featuring residential and retail units, offices, parks, dining, recreation and schools.

The C2 Lofts Preview Center is located in the Best Buy/Costco shopping center, near the northeast corner of Interstate 215, Las Vegas Beltway and West Charleston Boulevard.

To visit, take the 215 Beltway to West Charleston. Exit east then turn north into Canyon Pointe Shopping Plaza and look for the C2 Lofts Preview Center on the right.

The developer has also announced a C2 Lofts Upper West Side planned community will be constructed in the northwest valley, near U.S. Highway 95 and West Lake Mead Boulevard. C2 Lofts Upper West Side will promote a live, work and play environment, centered by a Main Street with loft residences located above retail shops, restaurants and offices.

Proposed amenities for the Upper West Side development will include an 18,000-square-foot Lifestyle Building with a resort style swimming pool, spas and water features, fitness center, treatment rooms, a juice bar, theater, TV room, business center and concierge services.

Prices are anticipated to start in the low $400,000s and an interest list is being formulated. Names for the interest list are only being accepted at the C2 Lofts Web site.
