Anthem Country Club to demolish sales pavilion
Although there are still homes for sale at Anthem Country Club, the sales pavilion is in the process of demolition as the Del Webb community edges toward completion. When the pavilion is dismantled, it will become the site of custom-home lots that have already been purchased. "We only have 33 inventory homes available," senior sales manager Jeb Koury said. "Ten of them are ready for move-in by the holidays." They are priced from the high $400,000s to more than $1 million. In addition, four furnished model homes are available for sale. Each has each been furnished by professional interior designers, and offers upgrades and landscaping. The models are priced from the high $900,000s to about $1.6 million. "The remaining four model homes have great incentives, provided buyers utilize Del Webb Home Finance for mortgaging," Koury said. The sales staff is being housed in the community's design center, which is located next door to the former sales center. "We are here in force to serve buyers until the last home is sold," Koury said. "The sales pavilion was built in 1998 and has served us well to help more than 1,600 families start a new life in this fantastic community." Amenities include a private athletic club with three swimming pools; cardiovascular equipment; aerobics classes; and basketball, volleyball and tennis facilities. A restaurant, hair salon and clubhouse are also on-site for residents to use. Equity memberships for the 72-par championship golf course are available to homeowners. To visit the guard-gated community in Henderson, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
