Triana builds upon success at Southern Highlands



Triana, Southwest Homes' newest neighborhood within the Southern Highlands community in the southwestern valley, has sold more than 50 homes since opening in September, according to company executive Todd Slusher.

"Triana is set to follow in the same successful path as our other communities of Setona, Viá Dana and Laurentiá," Slusher said. "We are elated that Triana is appealing to such a magnitude of prospective home buyers."

Scheduled for completion in December, the gated neighborhood offers six floor plans, ranging from 1,478 to 1,909 square feet. Priced from $151,990 to $175,990, the two-story homes will be situated in cul-de-sacs.

The models feature Tuscany/Mediterranean-style architectural styling.

Measuring 1,478 square feet and priced at $151,990, the Palermo model offers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage and loft. The 1,516-square-foot Cecily design offers three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage and a loft, and is priced at $157,990.

The Tuscany and Venice models measure 1,740 and 1,809 square feet, respectively. Tuscany, priced at $166,990, and Venice, priced at $171,990, come standard with three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage and a loft with an optional fourth bedroom.

Also offering three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a two-car garage, loft and optional fourth bedroom is Milan, priced at $173,990, and the Riviera design, priced at $175,990. They measure 1,843 and 1,909 square feet, respectively.

The homes feature textured ceilings, rounded corners, and gas heating system. Buyers may opt for upgraded oak, maple or cherry cabinets.

"The combination of affordable prices and spacious homes in an amenity-rich environment enhances the popularity and value of Triana," Slusher said.

The Villages at Southern Highlands showcases more than 20 builder neighborhoods, some of which are gated, and homes priced from the $130,000s to the $400,000s.

Community amenities include parks, walking paths and a landscaped paseo.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs. Models are open from from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
