KB Home presents free home-buying seminar

KB Home is presenting a free seminar about purchasing a new home next Saturday from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the furniture department at Robinsons May in the Fashion Show mall.

To help new-home buyers, the builder has developed its KB Homebuyers Club, which offers free assistance, including credit reports, a review of their financial situation and credit counseling if needed.

"This seminar is a great opportunity for potential home buyers to get all the facts about buying a home as well as learn about the services that the KB Home Homebuyer's Club offers," said Phyllis Duvall, a club counselor.

Representatives from the club will be on hand to answer buyers' questions on topics such as determining how much of a house they can afford, saving for a down payment and prequalifying for a loan.

Information about the builder's neighborhoods and floor plans will be available.

To get to the mall, take Interstate 15 to Spring Mountain Road and head east, cross Fashion Show Drive and turn left into the parking area.
