Aliante provides `everything' for buyers

Longtime Southern Nevadans Gary and Joleen Brickey ended their year-and-a-half search for a new home at the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas.

"We wanted the convenience of a single-story home, but we wanted a spacious new home in a nice area," Gary Brickey said. "Then, our daughter told us about Aliante and suggested that we visit this community before buying anywhere else. As it turned out, she was right, because we found everything we wanted here -- the perfect home, neighborhood and community."

Joleen Brickey said they were first attracted to the community's design.

"We felt that Aliante was comparable to the finest master plans we had seen in Southern Nevada, with the added advantage of being in such a peaceful, suburban location. The parks, walking trails and landscaped open space areas are beautiful, the homes and neighborhoods are attractive, and the future commercial centers will ensure that everything families need on a daily basis is close to home," she said.

They purchased a home at D.R. Horton's Estates neighborhood.

"It's a beautiful home with a very spacious and open feel. I have a large extended family and this home will be great for entertaining. We were also pleased that the Estates was gated and that all of the homes were single-story designs. It's perfect for us in every way," Joleen Brickey said.

Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb Corp. It measures 1,905 acres and features primary and age-qualified villages.

Builders in the primary village are D.R. Horton, KB Home, Pardee Homes and Pulte Homes. Their designs measure from 1,141 to 3,990 square feet and are priced from the $130,000s to the $380,000s.

Homes ranging from 1,155 to 2,105 square feet and priced from the $170,000s to the $260,000s are found at Del Webb's age-qualified Sun City Aliante.

About 428 acres of the community is designated for recreational and public purposes. Plans include an 18-hole municipal golf course, three city parks, linear parks, an arroyo, schools and fire station.

An information gallery is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive and turn right. Turn right at Frontage Road, then left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway and go south to the primary village or north to Sun City.
