COLUMN: ACHIEVERS

-- Joanne Levy, broker and owner of Levy Realty, was honored by the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors' with the Realtor of the Year award at the association's annual gala, held at the JW Marriott. According to the association, the award is presented to a Realtor who demonstrates "high principles, good real estate practice with other members and the public, civic involvement, local association activity, and involvement in other professional associations and educational achievements."

-- NAI Horizon appointed Michael Lyons as senior industrial specialist, and Rick Brase as senior land specialist in its Las Vegas office. Lyons is responsible for all aspects of industrial transactions, and spent 10 years with the Ribeiro Corp. as vice president of sales/leasing. Previously, he was owner/broker of Lyons Real Estate. Brase previously worked for CB Richard Ellis and Grubb & Ellis. He is responsible for all services related to land acquisition and sales.
