Treo North offers loft-style living

Ryland Homes has introduced loft-style, detached homes at Treo North, one of five neighborhoods at the South Mountain community in the southwestern valley.

The loft-style homes contain fewer walls, according to the builder, and exteriors are available in either a traditional motif or in an avant-garde, modern style.

Buyers can choose either a loft plan or a more traditional design. Homes measure 1,174 to 1,464 square feet with two bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. A third bedroom is optional.

Amenities include kitchens with recessed lighting, master suites, walk-in closets, upgraded plumbing and lighting fixtures, interior laundry rooms and one-car garages with finished interiors. A forced-air heating system, energy-efficient water heater, water-saving bath fixtures, and digital programmable thermostat all help save on utility costs.

Prices range from the low to mid-$200,000s.

In addition, the TrueU program allows buyers to customize their homes.

Treo South, Vicanto, Talasera and Aviano are the other neighborhoods at South Mountain.

The sales center is at 6741 Firewood Drive. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, go south to Arby Avenue and turn right. Drive to Fort Apache Road, turn right, go to Woodscape Parkway and turn left.
