Couple retain Help-U-Sell -- again
Jeff and Kathleen Tucker are ready to move since selling their two-story residence in the southwestern valley. They praised the service they received from Help-U-Sell Prestige Realty. "We sold our home for three grand (in agent fees)," Jeff Tucker said. "This is the second time we've used Help-U-Sell, (and it) is the real deal, that's for sure. We maximized our return on our investment by using them." The couple sold their home for $385,000. Help-U-Sell is a fee-for-service agency through which sellers are encouraged to show their own homes and conduct open houses. Clients receive full representation, along with signage, lock boxes, flyers and advertising. "We received as much service from Help-U-Sell as we would have with a full-service (traditional) broker," Tucker said. "(Our agent) kept us ahead of the curve at all times. Every time there was a new listing in the area, she would keep us apprised. She would tell us where we stood." Michael Patton, president of the company's Southern Nevada operations, said 42 percent of the transactions occur without any other real estate agent involvement, enabling clients to realize more profit from their sale. He pointed out that people who sell their homes through the agency can do so for as little as $2,950, however, other fees may apply. The company has about 30 agents in the Las Vegas Valley. They represent clients based on assigned ZIP codes. All of the firm's agents are members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
