Boca Raton is an upscale mid-rise residential complex under construction at Las Vegas Boulevard and Serene Avenue. It is designed to showcase the ambience of the South Florida coast.
Regional sales manager Marianne Pepe said visitors are impressed by the d cor, which is displayed in the model residence, as well as in the sales center.

"It takes them back in time to the sunny, breezy, carefree elegance of 1920s coastal Florida," she said.
Trisha Peterson, lead interior designer for the $400 million project, said the design and development teams have collaborated to create "an oasis in the desert."
"Our vision of this project is to take a piece of South Florida and implant it into the desert of Las Vegas, creating a lush, comfortable atmosphere for our future buyers," said Peterson, a designer for 15 years.
Peterson's husband, Jerry, is managing partner of the property.
"(We) wanted the best designer who could really understand our objectives, and take them to the next level," he said. "Trisha and the rest of the team hold in their hearts a vision of what we want the final look and feel of Boca Raton to be, and it's been great to work together as a team to accomplish that goal.
"All the team is working hard to make sure that when our clients enter into the Boca Raton community, whether to visit the sales center or to move into their new condominium, they feel as though we have taken them home."
At buildout, the project will comprise 756 units atop two two-story parking structures.
Floor plans range from 593 to about 2,400 square feet with one to three bedrooms.
Prices start from the $300,000s.
Planned amenities include walking trails, fitness centers and 24-hour concierge.
The first phase, which includes 172 units, is set for completion in fall 2006.
The sales office and model residence are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily at 2475 W. Serene Ave.
