Temple to host grand opening at Senna

The Senna neighborhood marks its grand opening this weekend in North Las Vegas with festivities that include food, fun and two-story floor plans. A drawing will be held for tickets to a show at a major resort.

Jeff Peterson, vice president of sales, described the neighborhood as "cutting edge" and a mix of "urban and suburban."

"The homes are built for the current trends in Las Vegas, in both lifestyle and personal expression," he said. "The feedback from buyers has exceeded our already high expectations. The public has been starved for a unique concept that really supports the way families live."

The floor plans range from 1,751 to 2,314 square feet. Prices start from the low $300,000s.

Features include covered patios, lofts and varied color schemes.

Senna is a development of Temple. Native Nevadan Aaron Temple is president of the company.

To visit, take Interstate 15 to Craig Road, head west to Losee Road and turn right. Proceed to Centennial Parkway, turn left, drive to Barista Street and turn right.

The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
