Hundreds of visitors attend debut of Stanpark's Monument

Stanpark Homes' Monument at Lone Mountain community celebrated its grand opening last weekend with the debut of eight model homes. Builder executive Michael Cox estimated that about 300 potential buyers attended the event in the northwestern valley.

"Visitors are immediately impressed with the beautiful location, and then realize what a great value we offer with unique floor plans starting from the $140,000s as well as a private, peaceful environment that includes a 5-acre park," Cox said.

Two neighborhoods are open within the community, and each offers single- and two-story floor plans.

At Summit, homes measure from 1,379 to 2,461 square feet with as many as four bedrooms and a three-car garage. At Crescendo, floor plans range from 1,949 to 3,634 square feet with as many as seven bedrooms and a four-car garage.

"The Crescendo series offers unique architectural features and elegant interior features presenting a tremendous opportunity for home buyers looking to own the home of their dreams," Cox said, adding that prices start from the $170,000s at the neighborhood.

The 5-acre park is slated to open before year's end with walking trails, barbecues, benches and a gazebo.

The builder offers such buyer incentives as a no-cost program to assist current homeowners in selling their home when buying a Stanpark home, and a 1-percent closing-cost discount to qualified buyers using an approved lender. The builder also provides a 10-year homeowner protection plan.

Cox said the community is ideally located, providing city and mountain views.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue and head west. Proceed until the road ends, turn north and follow the signs. The sales office and models are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Homes are also available at Stanpark's Tempo neighborhood in North Las Vegas. Four single- and two-story floor plans are available, ranging from 1,246 to 2,165 square feet and priced from the low $100,000s. The neighborhood features a gated entry. To visit, take Cheyenne Avenue to Revere Street, which is east of Martin Luther King Boulevard.

In addition, the builder is developing Teton at La Entrada in Henderson. Four single- and two-story plans are featured, ranging from 1,802 to 3,115 square feet. Three-car garages are standard, and homes are priced from the $170,000s. To visit, take Lake Mead Drive to Gibson Road and go south.
