New signal aids traffic in Henderson

A new traffic signaling system has been installed to provide better traffic flow at the Pebble MarketPlace retail center and the Green Valley Corporate Center, a 70-acre office park, on the southern edge of Green Valley in Henderson.

Part of the new system is a recently installed signal at the intersection of Corporate Circle and Green Valley Parkway, which is tied into the existing signals at Pebble Road and Green Valley Parkway, and Interstate 215 and Green Valley Parkway.

Other improvements include a new "S" turnout and a left turn lane.

Representatives of American Nevada Corp., the primary developer of Green Valley and Green Valley Ranch, said the signal should accommodate the area's growing population and reduce the number of traffic accidents.

In North Las Vegas, American Nevada Corp. and Del Webb are jointly developing the Aliante master-planned community.
