Couple choose home at Aliante
Marcus and Brandi Bruschke found their ideal home and community in which to raise a family at Pardee Homes' Seasons neighborhood in the Aliante community. "We looked from north to south and east to west at just about every community we could find," Marcus Bruschke said. "At one point we thought we had found the right home, but we weren't totally happy with the location. "Then, a relative encouraged us to visit Aliante before making our final decision. She had lots of good things to say about the community and once we did visit, we realized that it was the perfect place to live and raise our family." The couple have a 2 1/2-year-old son, Braxton, and are expecting another child next spring. "We will be making good use of the Nature Discovery Park," Brandi Bruschke said, referring to the community's 20-acre archeological-themed park. The Bruschkes chose a 2,700-square-foot, single-story design in Seasons, where homes measure from 2,500 to 3,990 square feet. The homes are priced from the low $300,000s. "We love everything about our home," Brandi Bruschke said. "It provides lots of space, the convenience of single-story living and excellent separation between the bedrooms, which will give everyone in the family more privacy. We've also been very pleased with the service provided by Pardee Homes' sales staff." In addition to Pardee, other builders in Aliante's primary village are D.R. Horton, KB Home and Pulte Homes. Collectively, floor plans are priced from the $130,000s to the $380,000s. Del Webb is developing Sun City Aliante, an age-qualified village, where single-story homes are priced from the $170,000s to the $260,000s. Aliante, under development on 1,905 acres in North Las Vegas, is planned to feature about 7,500 homes. About one-quarter of the acreage is designated for recreational and public purposes, including an 18-hole municipal golf course, three city parks, 24 miles of trails and linear parks, and an arroyo. Two elementary schools, a middle school and a fire station are planned, as is 100 acres of commercial development that includes a proposed hotel with gaming on 40 acres. North Valley Enterprises, Aliante's developer, is an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Centennial Parkway, exit east to Sky Pointe Drive and turn right. Turn right at Frontage Road, then left onto Interstate 215. Exit at Aliante Parkway and go south to the primary village or north to Sun City. The information center is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
