American West's designs attract buyers to Southern Highlands
The variety of floor plans are attracting buyers to American West Development's Glen Eagles and Inverness neighborhoods at American West Royal Highlands within the Villages at Southern Highlands in the southwestern valley. "Since opening for sales in October 2002, we've sold 141 homes in Glen Eagles and another 85 homes in Inverness," vice president of marketing Stacia Lemke said. Glen Eagles features five two-story floor plans measuring from 1,952 to 2,548 square feet and priced from $210,950. Neighborhood amenities include landscaped medians, greenbelts and roundabouts. It will comprise 391 homes. Six floor plans, five of which are modeled, measuring from 3,679 to 5,649 square feet are offered at Inverness. Priced from the mid-$300,000s, the designs feature a variety of options, including a finished basement. It will comprise 330 homes upon buildout. All homes feature structured wiring, as well as access to high-tech communications. Both neighborhoods are within the guard-gated Royal Highlands community, which is adjacent to a park and walking trail. Sales offices for both neighborhoods are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. To visit, take Interstate 15 to the Henderson/Lake Mead exit, head west and follow the signs. The Villages at Southern Highlands showcases designs by several builders in different neighborhoods. Homes are priced from the $170,000s to the $600,000s. Maps of the community are available at any of the model homes.
