Turnberry Towers rises east of Strip

First tower slated to open in spring 2007

Turnberry Towers is under construction on 10 acres at Paradise Road and Karen Avenue. The luxury high-rise condominium development will comprise two 45-story towers and more than 600 units.

"Turnberry Towers is being built at a premier location near the Strip," sales executive John Riordan said. "Residents will be a block from some of the best resorts, shopping, dining and attractions found within Las Vegas."

He also pointed out that residents will benefit from an "exclusive community environment."

"Our other high-rise community, Turnberry Place, is a prime example of the advantage to owning a residence in an exclusive, gated community. It features nearly 800 residences on 15 acres of land, offering residents plenty of space, security and privacy."

Completion of the first tower is expected in spring 2007; sales are under way for the second.

Each tower will feature a fitness facility, an outdoor pool with a sundeck, landscaping, tennis courts, a valet and 24-hour security.

Each residence will be technologically upgraded, according to Riordan. He said that with the push of a button, residents will be able to request their car from valet, communicate with the front desk, schedule a maintenance appointment or discover the latest in dining and entertainment, among other options.

"We want to make things as convenient as possible for our residents and offer them an alternative to the upkeep and maintenance of owning a single-family home," Riordan said.

The one-bedroom, 1 1/2-bath floor plan features a kitchen that opens to the great room. The two-bedroom residence with a den contains two baths, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a living room.

The second tower features a two-bedroom, two-bath design occupying an entire floor.

Three-bedroom residences with balconies are located on the top 12 floors of both towers.

Standard features in all units include Italian marble baths, spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, upgraded appliances and 9-foot ceilings.

Prices start from $500,000 to more than $1.3 million.

A 1,658-square-foot model is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily in the sales office at 222 Karen Ave.
