Day Dawn Estates sets opening
Nevada Homes Group unveils its newest subdivision, Day Dawn Estates, with a grand opening from noon to 5 p.m. today and tomorrow. Five model homes will be showcased at the northwestern valley neighborhood. Food, strolling minstrels, and door prizes will be part of the festivities. One model is the Pearl, which measures 1,309 square feet with three bedrooms, two baths and a covered patio. It is priced at $289,950. Another is the single-story Sapphire, a three-bedroom, two-bath residence that measures 1,663 square feet. This model can be viewed, but is sold out. The two-story Topaz contains three bedrooms, two baths and measures 1,752 square feet. It is priced at $324,950. Also two stories is the loft-style Emerald model, which features three bedrooms and three baths in 2,084 square feet. It employs the builder's "Fusion" concept, which is a prototype for a futuristic "smart home" that features "coffee-shop" style architecture. Metal, opened-beam ceilings; structured wiring; upgraded appliances; and air-conditioning units are among the features in such a home. It is priced at $359,950. The largest is the two-story Diamond plan, which contains four bedrooms, three baths, and covered balcony over a two-car garage. It is priced at $378,950. Nevada Homes Group Inc. is an Energy Star partner. During the grand opening, the builder plans to lock in the price of the home, and the mortgage company will lock in a 5.5 percent interest rate for qualified buyers until the home is completed. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Cheyenne Avenue, go west to Buffalo Drive and turn right. The models are at the northwest corner of Buffalo and Gowan Road.
