Pulte wins first national housing quality award
Pulte Homes Inc. has been named the winner of the National Housing Quality Gold Award, a first-time designation given out by the National Association of Home Builders Research Center and the Reed Residential Group. "We're very pleased to be recognized again at a national level for our efforts in making the customer's overall buying experience a great one," said Richard J. Dugas, Jr., president and CEO for the builder. Pulte is the first builder recognized at a national level by the NHQ Awards for its overall quality program, and company representatives accepted the award at an NAHB event last month in New Orleans. Entries were judged by panels who evaluated elements of the residential builders' customer service. The builder offers 23 active subdivisions throughout the valley, including Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch, both located in the northwest; Serenata, Treviso, Pavona, Salerno and Terrasini in the Aliante master-planned community; Miramonte, Escala and Cordova in Summerlin; Westchester Hills in the southwestern valley; and Amber Ridge at Mission Hills and Anthem Highlands in Henderson. Pulte Homes Inc., based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., has operations in more than 40 markets nationwide. Over its history, the company has constructed more than 370,000 homes.
