First-time buyer delighted with home at Vistana
Yvonne Hornbeck, a first-time home buyer, is delighted with her purchase of a condominium at Vistana at Rhodes Ranch. "The sales staff were phenomenal," she said. "They made the entire process worry-free. Vistana is a great place for first-time home buyers." Hornbeck, a promotions and event coordinator at a health care services company, chose the Lisbon plan, a split-level home with one bedroom and one bath. It measures 796 square feet. "I was able to invest in a floor plan with an attached garage," she said. "That was an important factor for me with my brand new home. Also, I really felt that the privacy of Vistana and its floor plans were enhanced by its location and community layout." The development is located at Rhodes Ranch, a golf course community in the southwestern valley. "I wish I bought out here earlier," Hornbeck said. "The location is great with the (Las Vegas) Beltway right here and none of the hustle and bustle of being located right in the middle of Las Vegas. It is a really quiet and peaceful pace of life here at Vistana." Hornbeck's home, like the eight other floor plans that are available, included an appliance package and window coverings. Three of the floor plans feature one bedroom and one bath, and measure from 670 to 796 square-feet; five two-bedroom and two-bath homes range from 847 to 1,200 square feet. The largest residence, the three-bedroom and two-bath Venice plan, measures 1,413 square feet. Prices start from the mid-$70,000s to the $120,000s. Community amenities include three planned swimming pools, a two-story fitness center and a spa. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Durango Drive, head south to Warm Springs Road and follow the signs. Hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
