Southwest Homes boosts lineup at Southern Highlands
Southwest Homes will celebrate the grand opening of Laurentia and Setona on Saturday and next Sunday. The neighborhoods are the builder's latest to open in The Villages at Southern Highlands, a planned community in the southwestern valley. Planned festivities include a barbecue and children's activities. Nevada Child Seekers will provide free fingerprinting on Saturday only. Laurentia offers single- and two-story homes priced from the $250,000s. Standard features include finished garages, exterior coach lamps, laundry chutes, gas fireplaces with logs and glass doors, granite-tile kitchen counter tops. At Setona, single- and two-story homes can be built with three to five bedrooms and two to 3 1/2 baths. Prices start from the $160,000s. Among the standard features are a fireplace, double-oven, laundry chute, French doors, and a textured and painted garage or hand-finished and textured ceilings. A den, home office or additional bedroom are optional. Southwest Homes also has homes available in Via Dana, also located within Southern Highlands. Homes measure from 1,260 to 2,458 square feet with as many as four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths. Prices start from the $140,000s. Also at Southern Highlands, the builder plans to open Triana, where prices will start from the $120,000s. More than 40 acres of parks and miles of bicycle, jogging and hiking trails are planned for the community. To visit, take Interstate 15 to Lake Mead Drive and exit west to the community. All sales offices are open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
