Sunrise Colony forms Siena Resale GroupSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
The newly established Siena Resale Group serves current homeowners, as well as potential home buyers at Siena, an age-qualified community in Summerlin. Services include assisting residents in the sale of their homes and locating homes for buyers in need of immediate move-in. "The new program ... will allow us to better serve all of our buyers' needs and will offer a service to all Siena homeowners who are looking to sell their homes," Jimmy Jones, vice president of sales, said. "When current Siena homeowners list their home with the Siena Resale Group, they can feel confident their home will be represented in the most professional manner and with every detail in mind. "With an average of approximately 300 new-home shoppers who come through the Siena Sales Center every week, there are oftentimes circumstances where a buyer doesn't have the luxury of waiting for the completion of a new home. With the Siena Resale Group, we can now assist such buyers in realizing their dream of living in Siena with the ease of purchase of an existing home." Jim Slama, director of the Siena Resale Group, said the program has been well received. "Although the Resale Group has only been in operation for a few weeks, the response from the residents of Siena has been overwhelmingly positive. By having our office located on-site in the Siena Model Park, we are able to offer the residents of Siena personalized service and we look forward to serving all of their residential resale needs," Slama said. New-home buyers can choose from 18 single-story floor plans, measuring from 1,040 to 3,200 square feet. Each plan offers three exterior designs. Homes are priced from the $140,000s to the $370,000s, plus home-site premiums. Options, per plan, include courtyard fireplaces and casitas with separate entrances. Professional interior designers are on-site to assist buyers. Sunrise Colony Co., the developer, specializes in resort-style communities, according to Paul Smith, senior vice president and Siena project manager. "Within its guarded gates, private streets and patrolled neighborhoods, Siena's residents have access to an unparalleled variety of recreational and social activities to enjoy including golf, swimming, dancing, bocce ball, tennis, craft clubs, social organizations and much more." The Siena Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 course that operates on a daily-fee basis, however Siena residents receive special rates and preferred tee times. The clubhouse has a pro shop and full-service restaurant. The health and fitness center houses a 25-meter indoor pool, equipped workout areas, and sauna and steam rooms. There is also a full-service beauty salon and day spa, as well as a wellness center overseen by Summerlin Hospital Medical Center. A permanent social center is under construction and expected to open next spring. The 39,000-square-foot facility will feature a dome-shaped lobby and lounge in addition to a grand ballroom that will host a variety of special events. Additional amenities will include a cyber café, business center, arts and crafts areas, and card and game rooms. To visit, take Sahara Avenue or Interstate 215 to Town Center Drive and go south to Siena Monte Avenue. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Sunrise Colony Co. is also developing Red Rock Country Club in Summerlin.
