Mansions under construction at MacDonald Highlands
Builders have begun construction on estates that will be featured during next spring's Street of Dreams luxury-home show in MacDonald Highlands in Henderson. The homes will range from 10,000 to more than 25,000 square feet on lots measuring from one-half acre to 2 acres. "We are extremely excited about this coming event," Brian Ashbaugh, president of Street of Dreams Inc., said. "The builders in Las Vegas have outdone themselves and the new show promises a lot of surprises." The show homes are being constructed in the Bent Green neighborhood. "MacDonald Highlands is proud to host the 2004 Street of Dreams event," Rich MacDonald, president of MacDonald Cos., said. "The Bent Green neighborhood offered the builders larger lots and extreme views to expand their creativity. We have recently released the adjoining custom lots to the public for those who wish to purchase and build next to these incredible show homes." Lots in the neighborhood range from .47 acre to .92 acre and are priced from $369,000 to $1.098 million. Ten custom-home neighborhoods are under development. Buyers can choose from a variety of terrains including flat golf frontage, mutileveled pads or hillside elevations. Sites range from one-quarter acre to 2 1/2 acres and are priced from $220,000 to more than $3.5 million. Featured in the community is DragonRidge Country Club, a private facility. It is open to the public for a limited time until membership capacity is reached. The guard-gated development will include three neighborhood parks with tennis, basketball and volleyball courts; play areas; and picnic facilities. To visit the information center at 1700 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway, Suite 100, take Interstate 215 to Valle Verde Drive, turn south and proceed to Horizon Ridge Parkway. The office is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. |
