The Nevada Housing Division is accepting submissions for its annual art contest. Pupils in grades K-5 can submit two-dimensional, 9-by-12-inch artwork addressing the theme "Where I Live." Winners will receive U.S. savings bonds courtesy of Pardee Homes. First place will be awarded $300, second place will net $150, and third place will earn $100. The Judges' Choice recipient will receive $50, and $25 will be given to each of the nine runners-up. Winning entries will be featured in the Housing Division's 2004 calendar. Juried artwork will be exhibited at The Venetian Jan. 6-16, and at a reception for the artists on Jan. 6. The entry deadline is Wednesday, Nov. 12.
