New phase released at Cheyenne

Pardee Homes is releasing a new phase of Cheyenne homes next week at its Shadow Mountain Ranch community in the southwestern valley, according to sales director Rob Tuvell.

"When you combine the popular Cheyenne homes with oversized home sites, you get plenty of room for families who do a lot of living inside and outside. Add to that the easy access from the (Interstate) 215 beltway and all Energy Star homes, and you've got a winning combination," Tuvell said.

Homes in the community's two neighborhoods, Cheyenne and Montana, exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent, earning the Energy Star designation from the Environmental Protection Agency.

Cheyenne offers four one- and two-story designs with as many as four bedrooms and three baths, master suites, bonus rooms, family rooms, and two- or three-car garages.

Plan One is a single-story, three-bedroom, two-bath home measuring 1,383 square feet. It is priced from $161,450.

Measuring 1,569 or 1,718 square feet, Plan Two features three or four bedrooms, or three bedrooms with an optional den; two baths; and a two-car garage. It is priced from $171,950 and $177,950.

The two-story Plan Three has four bedrooms, three baths and a bonus room. Three elevations of the 2,442-square-foot home are offered. It is priced from $188,950 and $200,950.

Plan Four features three bedrooms, a den, bonus room and 2 1/2 baths. It measures 2,446 square feet and is priced from $203,950. It is also available with four bedrooms and three baths.

"Pardee designed Cheyenne for busy families, with the convenience of second-floor laundry rooms and linen closets. The kitchens have large preparation islands or breakfast bars that can also serve as the hub of the home," Tuvell said.

Standard features include oak stair handrails with white pickets, and kitchens with laminate counter tops, recessed-panel oak cabinetry, pantries and appliance packages in choice of black or white.

The community is near a park with ball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, roller hockey, skate boarding, and a dog run.

To visit, take Tropicana Avenue west, past Durango Drive, to Grand Canyon Drive and turn left. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.

Pardee Homes is celebrating 50 years of home building in Southern Nevada, where it has built homes for more than 25,000 families.
