Advantages of Sun City Aliante touted

More than 400 Realtors and sales associates for Del Webb met recently to learn about plans for the new Sun City Aliante age-qualified community in North Las Vegas.

Among the speakers was Richard Lee, vice president of public relations for First American Title, who addressed growth and development in the Las Vegas Valley and the advantages of purchasing early in a master-planned community.

"What's outstanding is that Del Webb has a chance to do it again ... Look what happened at Anthem. Those who got in early saw significant equity," he said.

Lee also interpreted purchasing trends, indicating that now is the ideal time to buy a home.

"Del Webb's track record is unbeatable. Now is the best time to invest," he said.

Del Webb also developed Sun City Summerlin, Sun City MacDonald Ranch, Anthem Country Club, Coventry Homes at Anthem and the Anthem master plan.

Sun City Aliante will be part of the Aliante master-planned community. Built around a public 18-hole golf course, it will offer residents a fitness center, swimming pool, tennis, bocce and clubs.

"There are three collections with 10 floor plans representing the elegant yet casual style that buyers have come to expect from Del Webb. The pioneers who buy now can take advantage of early pricing and lot selections," sales manager Lorraine Roberts said.

Homes are priced from $139,000 to $227,000.

Sales began earlier this week at a temporary sales office located at Centennial Marketplace, 7891 Tropical Parkway, Suite 120, off U.S. Highway 95 and Centennial Parkway. Model homes are slated to open in February.

Aliante is located at the northwestern end of the North Las Vegas. It is bordered roughly by Grand Teton Drive to the north, Centennial Parkway to the south, Decatur Boulevard to the west and Clayton Street to the east.
