Pair extol Sun City Anthem

After four years of squeezing in time to find their dream home while visiting Las Vegas, Gail and George Paolucci purchased a home at Sun City Anthem in Henderson.

"We love the vitality of Sun City Anthem. And we enjoy the entertainment available in Las Vegas," George Paolucci said.

The couple recently attended their first concert for residents, a show featuring music from the '50s, '60s and '70s.

Paolucci, who was a police officer in New York before joining the real estate industry and moving to California, calls the community "a cut above" and said it's "beautiful."

He enjoys flying and said he likes the proximity of the Henderson Executive Airport and to his new community.

The Paoluccis chose the Liberty, a 2,200-square-foot design with three bedrooms, which gives them room for their 28-year-old son to visit.

"We appreciate the professional thought and planning for this luxury community. We look forward to taking advantage of the lifestyle that vibrates through Anthem," Paolucci said.

Central to the community is Anthem Center, site of fitness, social and recreational opportunities for residents, as well as Trumpets Restaurant and Lounge, which is open to the public.

Twelve designs ranging from 1,496 to 3,175 square feet are available. Homes are priced from the low $200,000s to more than $500,000.

To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and then turn right on Alexandria Drive. Models are open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
