Pulte's Pinehurst Collection popular
Pulte Homes has experienced strong demand for its new single- and two-story townhomes in the Pinehurst Collection at Silverstone Ranch, a community in the northwestern valley. Presales began last weekend. "The response was unbelievable," sales manager Randy Char said. "People were lined up at noon the day before we even opened. The models are not available for viewing yet, and already there is incredible interest for these townhomes." Charles Hollister was among those in line. "Pulte builds such a great product, and I wanted to be the first to get in line to purchase a townhome at Silverstone Ranch," said Hollister, who was one of several who stayed in their vehicles overnight to reserve a townhome. He has yet to decide between a 1459 or 1646 floor plan. The collection features four floor plans, each named for its square footage, priced from the mid-$200,000s. Features include covered patios and two-car garages. Two bedrooms or one bedroom and a den highlight the 1321 plan. The single-story design also has two baths, a great room, dining room and kitchen nook. The 1459 is a single-story design with three bedrooms or two bedrooms and a den, two baths, a great room, dining room and kitchen nook. Three bedrooms are featured in the 1646 plan. The single-story design also has two baths and a living room. Optional configurations include two bedrooms and a den, or a dining room that can be converted into a fourth bedroom, den or exercise room. The largest offering, the two-story 1995 plan, has three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a great room, dining room and balcony. An upstairs master suite, fourth bedroom or bonus room are optional and increase the home's size to 2,354 square feet. A third full bath also is optional. Amenities will include a pool, recreation facility, tennis courts, parks, barbecue and picnic areas, a putting green and access to the golf course, clubhouse and restaurant. Silverstone Ranch is built around the fairways of Silverstone Golf Club, a 27-hole championship course. The townhome complex is one of six collections of homes featured at the community. Eighteen of the 20 available designs are modeled. Floor plans range from 1,520 to 3,448 square feet and are priced from $236,990 to $484,990. All homes have the builder's Platinum Plus Series Environments for Living technology and are recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency as Energy Star residences for being at least 30 percent more energy efficient than federal standards require. They also offer a three-year heating- and cooling-cost guarantee. The information center is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Durango Drive, head east to Grand Teton Drive and turn right. Proceed to Buffalo Drive, turn left and follow the signs.
