Golf course draws buyers to Siena

Siena Golf Club, a par-72 championship golf course, is central to Siena, Sunrise Colony Co.'s age-qualified community in Summerlin.

"With almost 33 percent of our home sites located along the golf course, the Siena Golf Club is one of the big reasons buyers purchase in Siena," sales executive Jimmy Jones said. "We have numerous residents who aren't even golfers but they enjoy the golf community lifestyle and the continual beauty that the course provides."

The 18-hole course features 95 white sand bunkers, six lakes, waterfalls and dual-tiered practice facilities. It is open to all ages, but residents receive special rates and preferred tee times.

The course is complemented by a 13,500-square-foot clubhouse, which has a restaurant with indoor and outdoor dining, and a pro shop.

Central to the development is a social center that serves as a venue for various activities, classes and organizations. It offers a ballroom, computer lab, arts and crafts facilities, a music room, game rooms, a business center, private meeting rooms, a library and offices for the activities staff.

Also featured is a 15,900-square-foot fitness center with a 25-meter indoor pool, spa, windows overlooking the golf course, outdoor resort-style pool and spa, and lighted tennis and bocce courts. There also is a beauty salon and a day spa.

With the community nearing closeout, homes are priced from the $300,000s to the $840,000s, plus home-site premiums. Ranging from 1,040 to about 3,000 square feet, each plan in the six Italian-themed collections offers a range of upgrades and options.

The developer offers a promotion of $15,000 to $30,000 in design studio credits with the purchase of select new homes.

To visit, take Flamingo Road or Interstate 215 to Town Center Drive, go south to Siena Monte Avenue and turn left. The sales office is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
