Help-U-Sell pleasantly surprises home sellers

Frank and Debra Farr sold their Henderson home through Help-U-Sell Anchor Realty.

The couple purchased their 2,100-square-foot home for $150,000 in 1999, and sold it for $369,000. It was on the market for about five weeks.

Frank Farr was impressed by the company's services.

"It was great, better than I anticipated. My wife came home with the idea. I was kind of skeptical at first, but it turned out good," he said.

"We're very happy. They were very helpful. They were there anytime we needed anything," Debra Farr added.

Help-U-Sell is a fee-for-service agency which provides full representation and handles all negotiations. Signage, lock boxes, flyers and advertising are provided.

Sellers are encouraged to show their own property and conduct open houses.

The company, which was established in California in 1976, has 11 offices in Southern Nevada.

Locally, the company has 30 agents, who represent clients based on assigned ZIP codes. All are members of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
