Work ahead of schedule for Residences at MGM

Work is ahead of schedule on all three towers at The Residences at MGM Grand, a condominium-hotel under construction on the northeast end of MGM Grand's 116-acre resort property.

"We began construction on Tower C three months early because sales were moving so quickly," said Dan Riordan, director of sales. "We have less than one-third of the residences remaining in Tower C, and once those are gone, we'll be sold out."

The project is a joint venture of the resort and developer Turnberry Associates.

"Many of our buyers want to be able to walk to the attractions on the Strip, they want the amenities of a world-class hotel at their fingertips and they want to enjoy the standard of excellence that Turnberry and MGM are bringing to this development," Riordan said.

Furnished studio, one- and two-bedroom suites are available in the last of three planned towers. When complete, the development will include 1,727 units.

"The Residences provides a turnkey lifestyle of convenience where you can live part-time or year round and come and go as you please," Riordan said. "Many people are opting to use their residence as a second or vacation home and plan to invite their family and friends to visit."

Residences offer crown molding, raised-panel wood doors, high-speed data connectivity, granite counter tops, imported Italian kitchen cabinetry, and private closets for owners. Additional highlights include Sub-Zero refrigerators, Miele appliances, baths with spa tubs and flat-screen HDTVs.

Prices start from $550,000 to more than $2.5 million.

Residents will have access to world-class amenities, including the resort's 171,000-square-foot casino, outdoor pool complex with five swimming pools and private cabanas, the Grand Spa, a variety of restaurants, shopping outlets and entertainment.

Each of the three towers will feature 24-hour front desk and concierge services, room service, a guarded security entrance, and private fitness and swimming facilities.

The sales office, which features a two-bedroom model, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. It is located in the resort hotel's studio walk.
