Family-oriented lifestyle built in at Pardee Homes neighborhood
Tamarind, the newest neighborhood in Pardee's Eldorado Highlands community, offers a family-oriented, master-planned lifestyle in North Las Vegas, according to sales director Rob Tuvell. "Since Pardee introduced Eldorado in 1990, homeowners have developed a strong sense of community with activities centered around events at both Eldorado and Seastrand parks, as well as at Lee Antonello Elementary School," Tuvell said. Located near the 23-acre Seastrand Park, the neighborhood offers four single- and two-story floor plans that measure 1,914 to 2,959 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and three baths. Prices range from $361,950 to $429,950. All homes in Eldorado Highlands include the Energy Star program that keeps them warmer in winter and cooler in summer, while reducing energy costs. "They exceed national energy-efficiency standards by at least 30 percent," Tuvell said. The homes showcase volume ceilings and include either a front porch or courtyard. Options, per plan, include a retreat, home management center, bonus room, loft, tech center and library. To visit the neighborhood, take Craig Road to Camino al Norte, until it changes Camino Eldorado, then go northwest to the sales office and model park. The office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m. Pardee has built nearly 30,000 homes in Southern Nevada since 1952.
