Summerlin Turkey Trot

More than 1,500 runners participated in the 21st annual Turkey Trot 10K, 5K and one-mile fun run/walk held recently in the Summerlin master-planned community. The event benefited the Ronald McDonald House of Greater Las Vegas, which serves as a home away from home for families of seriously ill children who are in Las Vegas to receive medical treatment. The occasion marked the second consecutive year that The Howard Hughes Corp., the developer of Summerlin, sponsored the event, which started and ended at Howard Hughes Plaza.
