Ground broken for distribution center



-- Construction is under way on the Craig Distribution Center, a 26-acre industrial complex at the southeast corner of Craig Road and Flossmoor Street in the northeastern valley. The project, a joint development of Henderson-based Centra Properties and Panattoni Development Co. of Sacramento, Calif., will include three buildings totaling 545,000 square feet. Occupancy is expected in second-quarter 2002.

-- Southwest Exchange Corp. president Betty Kincaid has been elected 2002 financial secretary for the Women's Council of Realtors, a national organization.

-- Charles Van Geel represented American Nevada Corp. in its 37-month lease of 2,308 square feet at 2 Commerce Center Drive in Green Valley Commerce Center to Healthy Connec- tions, By Joanie for $77,000.

-- Colliers International's Tom Stilley, Lizz Schafer and Jayne Cayton represented The Howard Hughes Corp. in its 60-month lease of 2,885 square feet at 3993 Howard Hughes Parkway to Bible Hoy Trachok for $395,158. In another transaction, Spencer Pinter, Michael G. DeLew and Greg Pancirov represented Craig-Pecos Limited Partnership in its 62-month lease of 4,830 square feet at 4216 N. Pecos Road, Suite 102, to International Polishing Techniques, dba IPT, for $162,714. Pinter, DeLew, Pancirov and Dave Frear represented Koll Valley View I in its 36-month lease of 3,812 square feet at 6285 S. Valley View Blvd., Suite B, to Xibit Solutions for $103,020.

-- CB Richard Ellis' Christina Roush, Charles Moore and Geoff West represented CPSIEM in its sale of the 44,891-square-foot Sierra Health medical office building at 2704 N. Tenaya Way to Tierra Nevada for $10.5 million. In another transaction, Kevin Higgins represented Betty Foster in her purchase of 5.52 acres at the northeast corner of Sunset Road and Valle Verde Drive from Green Valley Capital for $1.4 million. Bill Dunbar and George Okinaka represented SunMark Plaza in its 10-year lease of 30,569 square feet at 671 Marks St., in SunMark Plaza, to DSW Shoes for $4.2 million. Dunbar and Okinaka also represented Bath & Body Works in its 10-year lease of 2,665 square feet at the southeast corner of Sunset Road and Marks Street from Retail Development Partners for $625,000. In another transaction, Dunbar and Jeanene McClenahan represented Warm Springs Center in its five-year lease of 1,225 square feet at 2247 Green Valley Parkway to Best Nails for $155,000. McClenahan and Dunbar also represented Kirkorian Enterprises in its five-year lease of 2,500 square feet at 7531 W. Lake Mead Blvd. to Hawg's Seafood Bar for $470,000.

In another transaction, Jeremy Green and Donna Alderson represented LE Investments in its eight-year lease of 3,031 square feet at 6330 W. Spring Mountain Road to Clark County Health District for $390,000. Alderson and Green represented Jackson-Shaw/Warm Springs III in its four-year lease of 8,014 square feet at 7540 S. Industrial Road to Skyline Installation for $285,000. Green and Alderson also represented Amadeus A. Schneider in his five-year lease of 5,000 square feet at 5325 S. Valley View Blvd. from Boreta Family Trust for $140,000.
