Strip locale offers benefits to Turnberry residents

Turnberry Towers' proximity to the Strip has attracted prospective buyers, according to the developer.

"Many of our purchasers will use their residence as a second or vacation home and the close proximity of Turnberry Towers to world-class resorts, dining and entertainment is an advantage," said John Riordan, vice president of sales.

Turnberry Towers is located on the corner of Paradise Road and Karen Avenue, across the street from developer Turnberry Associates' first Las Vegas high-rise community, Turnberry Place.

"Turnberry set the standard for the high-rise resort lifestyle concept in Las Vegas with the introduction of Turnberry Place," Riordan said. "At a Turnberry development, all of the residences bask in refinements and luxuries and five-star service is standard."

Plans for Turnberry Towers call for dual 45-story towers.

The East Tower is sold out and under construction with occupancy slated for spring 2007. Sales for the West Tower are under way; the remaining 150 residences were recently released for sale.

Available homes include a one-bedroom residence with 1 1/2 baths, a two-bedroom home with two baths, a two-bedroom floor plan with a den and two baths, and a three-bedroom design with 2 1/2 baths. The one-bedroom residence comes with an open kitchen and counter bar. Many homes feature views of the Strip and surrounding mountains.

Prices start from $500,000 to more than $1.3 million.

Residences will feature Italian marble baths and spa tubs, granite-topped European kitchen cabinetry, upgraded appliances and 9-foot ceilings.

Within the gated development, each tower will feature a fitness facility, outdoor pool with a sun deck, landscaping, tennis, valet and 24-hour security.

The sales office, located at 222 Karen Ave., features a model suite. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
