Model homes debut at Ravenna
Meritage Homes recently celebrated the grand opening of its Ravenna neighborhood within the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas. The festivities included a coloring contest for children, refreshments, and drawings for free turkeys. "We were delighted at the reception the homes at Ravenna received from visitors," sales agent Renée Mancini said. "The word has gotten out that Aliante is a great master plan and people are excited about the opportunity to buy a great home." The two-story residences in the neighborhood have Tuscan, southern Italian and Spanish-Colonial architecture. Each features a front porch and a two-car garage. The Milano floor plan offers a family room, dining room, four bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in 1,785 square feet; it is priced from the $280,000s. At 1,993 square feet, the Bellaria features a great room, bath and a bedroom or optional den on the first floor, and a loft, three bedrooms and two baths on the second floor. It is priced from the $290,000s. Cervia is a 2,169-square-foot design with a family room, dining room, bath, and den or bedroom on the first floor. The second story offers three bedrooms and two baths. It is priced from the low $300,000s. Sales agent Jacquay Manos said buyers appreciate the floor plans' range of available options. "The master bedroom of the Milano offers the option of an adjacent retreat or exercise room that also could be built as another bedroom," she said. "One of the front bedrooms can be turned into a loft or the two front bedrooms are available as a bonus room." The Bellario floor plan offers the option of turning the second-floor loft into a bedroom and making a bonus room out of the two front bedrooms. "Our Cervia immediately attracted a couple whose parents are unable to climb stairs and the downstairs bedroom was a must," she said. "The Cervia also offers the option of a retreat to the master bedroom and loft or bonus room." Kitchen highlights include ceramic-tile counter tops and oak cabinets with hidden hinges. All homes are built to Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star and ComfortWise conservation program standards, which lower utility costs. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit then go south to the community's information center. The sales office and models are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
