Chef's series set to end
Pulte Homes will conclude its free cooking series for homeowners and prospective buyers today at its Anthem Highlands community in Henderson. Scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m., the session will feature Chef Gustav Mauler offering Thanksgiving meal preparation suggestions. It will be conducted in the model for the 3483 plan of the community's Stonehaven Collection, which features an upgraded kitchen appliance package created by the chef in conjunction with the builder. The stainless steel package includes a wall-mounted hood, cook top with gas burner and grill, built-in microwave with speed cook technology, dual convection ovens, warming drawer, refrigerator with dispenser, dishwasher and wine chiller. Samples of the dishes he creates will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Mauler is president and chief executive officer of a restaurant, hospitality, management and consulting company. Additional information is available at the community's sales office. Five collections of single- and two-story homes are available. Designs range from 1,580 to 3,483 square feet, and are priced from the low $300,000s. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon.
