Couple give nod to Richmond product

Myesha Williams and Jonathan Daniel feel confident they made a wise investment by purchasing a new home from Richmond American. Williams is a sales agent for the builder.

"Richmond builds a quality product and stands behind that 100 percent," she said. "The follow-through we have experienced with each step has been very thorough, making our experience incredibly smooth."

Their home is under construction at Avignon, a neighborhood in the southern valley.

"The homes are beautiful, but location also played a factor for us," Williams said. "We currently live in the northwest, and Avignon gave us the perfect opportunity to move closer to my father. There is just so much happening in this area, it's exciting."

Daniel cited the floor plans.

"(They) offered more room for us to grow, and the larger lot size will allow for us to have a great back yard with a pool," he said.

The couple purchased the two-story Sevilla, a 2,657-square-foot residence that can be built with as many as six bedrooms and three baths. Highlights include a foyer, combined living and dining room, and kitchen with a pantry and nook. A bedroom and full bath are located downstairs; the bedroom can be converted to a den. Additional options include a master-suite retreat and an extended family room.

The Sevilla is priced from the $450,000s.

Buyers can choose from two additional floor plans.

Cantabria, a two-story design measuring 2,570 square feet, features five bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, a family room, and a combined living and dining area. The country kitchen features an island and nook. Options include a dual master bath, master retreat, an added bedroom, loft and tandem garage. The design is priced from the $440,000s.

Barcelona is a single-story design priced from the $430,000s. At 2,458 square feet, the home has five bedrooms, three baths, a great room, dining room and kitchen nook. Master-suite amenities include an oval tub, separate shower and dual-sink vanity. A loft, den, master retreat and theater are optional.
