Southern Terrace marks down options
This holiday season, home buyers at the Southern Terrace community can get a 20 percent discount on options offered by the builder, Perma-Bilt Homes. From today through Dec. 28, all who purchase a new home at any of the four neighborhoods within the community are eligible for the discount. "The vast majority of our buyers have at least one builder option added to their home, and through the end of this year, we're offering available options at a 20 percent discount," company executive Ruth Ochoa said. The neighborhoods are: Autumn Hills, Somerset, Ridgemont and Monterey with all 15 model homes in one location. To visit, take Interstate 215 to Russell Road, go west to Fort Apache Road and turn left. Somerset features four floor plans ranging from 1,379 to 2,467 square feet with prices starting from the $150,000s. Design elements include libraries, island kitchens and tandem three-car garages. Options include bonus rooms, lofts, retreats and extra bedrooms. Autumn Hills offers four floor plans, ranging from 1,563 to 1,953 square feet, and priced from the $150,000s. Ridgemont's homes are single-story and measure from 2,223 to 2,759 square feet. Prices start from the $230,000s. Features include courtyard entries and split three-car garages. The largest homes are at Monterey: three two-story floor plans ranging from 2,860 to 3,541 square feet with prices starting from the low $300,000s. These semicustom designs include such features as split three-car garages, owner bedroom retreats, courtyards, optional bonus rooms, patios, home offices or libraries, and extra bedrooms and baths. All homes at the community bear the Comfort Wise and Energy Star designations, which means they use as much as 30 percent less energy than a standard home. Community residents and their guests will have use of the planned Southern Terrace Club, a clubhouse with a family swimming pool, adult swimming pool, playground, picnic and barbecue area, workout room, saunas, locker rooms and a private massage facility. Completion is expected by January, and there will be an activities director. The builder is also developing a one-mile paved trail with desert landscaping for walking, jogging or biking. The sale office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at 11 a.m.
