Summerlin Walks For America

Members of the Palo Verde High School Junior ROTC lead Summerlin residents on the one-mile "Walk for America" held recently in the master-planned community. Organized by The Howard Hughes Corp., developer of Summerlin, along with the Summerlin Community Association, the event benefited the Southern Nevada chapter of the American Red Cross. The Palo Verde High School Vocal Infinity choir kicked off the event by providing a rendition of the national anthem.
