Home shoppers impressed by Anthem HighlandsSPECIAL TO REAL ESTATE
S.K. and Larry Clark recently visited Pulte Homes' Anthem Highlands community and were impressed by the 2655 plan, as well as the artificial turf featured throughout the model park. "We moved to Las Vegas a year ago from Houston, and have always been very impressed with the quality of Pulte Homes," S.K. Clark said. "When we toured the models, we fell in love with the layout of the 2655 plan. "We are considering installing artificial turf in both the front and back yards when we purchase our new Pulte home. We are really impressed with how real it looks, how great it feels and how easy it is to maintain." The synthetic turf is offered by the builder as a water-saving landscape alternative. "We have had several visitors to Anthem Highlands that enjoy taking their shoes off and rubbing their feet or rolling around on the artificial turf because it looks and feels so real," sales manager Brinton Cook said. The product is comprised of half-inch blades of synthetic grass laid out like carpet. A thick layer of ground rubber and sand is laid over it to make the blades stand up like and provide a cushiony feel. The artificial turf has an estimated life span of 15 years. The 400-acre community is part of the Anthem master plan in Henderson. Buyers can choose from five collections, offering single- and two-story homes measuring from 1,580 to 3,483 square feet. About 20 floor plans are available. Prices start from $262,990 to $549,990. All homes feature the builder's Platinum Series Environments for Living technology in addition to the Energy Star label. A three-year heating and cooling cost guarantee is also included. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, to Anthem Parkway, turn left and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon. Pulte is developing more than 15 subdivisions in the valley. They include Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch in the northwest; Serenata and Vialetto in the Aliante community in North Las Vegas; and Paradiso, Summerfield, Hillstone and Miramonte in The Vistas village in Summerlin. The Pinehurst Collection of townhomes in Silverstone Ranch will open for presales next Saturday. Escala in Summerlin's The Paseos village is expected to open soon. |
