Pulte's cooking series nears end
Chef Gustav Mauler will present the final session of Pulte Homes' free cooking series for homeowners and prospective buyers on Saturday, Nov. 20, at its Anthem Highlands community in Henderson. The session, scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m., will focus on Thanksgiving preparations and be conducted in the 3483 plan of the community's Stonehaven Collection. Samples will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Reservations for visitors are suggested. Additional information is available at the sales office. The cooking series allows the builder to showcase the upgraded kitchen appliance package that it teamed with Mauler to create. It features stainless steel appliances, including a wall-mounted hood, cook top, built-in microwave with speed cook technology, dual convection ovens, warming drawer, refrigerator with a dispenser, dishwasher and wine chiller. The package is featured in the 3483 plan. Mauler is president and chief executive officer of a restaurant, hospitality, management and consulting company. Five collections of homes are offered in the community. The single- and two-story designs range from 1,580 to 3,483 square feet and are priced from the low $300,000s. To visit, take Eastern Avenue south, two miles past St. Rose Parkway, turn left on Anthem Parkway and follow the signs. The sales office is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Monday, when it opens at noon. Based in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., the builder operates in more than 40 markets nationwide and offers 23 new-home subdivisions in the valley including Amber Ridge at Mission Hills in Henderson; Westchester Hills in the southwest; Miramonte, Escala, Palomar and Cordova in Summerlin; Silverstone Ranch and Wyeth Ranch in the northwest; Serenata, Treviso, Pavona, Salerno and Terrasini in Aliante in North Las Vegas. Its Del Webb brand is a leading builder of age-qualified communities. It also operates a mortgage division. Over its history, the company has constructed more than 370,000 homes.
