COLUMN: ACHIEVERS

-- The Montecito Companies Development Group appointed Matthew Werner as director of development. In his position, Werner oversees the company's retail and office developments. Previously, he was director of government and community relations for the company. Before that, Werner was a land use consultant for Nevada Power Co. and a council liaison for the city of Las Vegas.

-- The Nevada Association of Realtors awarded Derek Miyano the Graduate, Realtor Institute designation. Miyano is a member of the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
