Homeowner happy with Rolladen shutters

Betty Roberts is pleased with the Rolladen Rolling Shutters that were recently installed on her home in Las Vegas.

"My house is now nice and cozy," the 45-year valley resident said. "Everybody should have them. It's so beautiful and comfortable and I sleep like a baby. When it got hot not long ago, I didn't need to turn on the air conditioning. It was so cool in here. And when the weather started to cool, my home stayed nice and warm.

"My husband, Michael, and I love them. They will be excellent in so many ways including security."

Roberts praised the crew that installed the shutters on her two-story, 3,000-square-foot home.

"They did an excellent job," she said. "I have a girlfriend who is moving (to Las Vegas), and she's going to get them, too. They're the best investment I ever made."

Roberts anticipates the shutters will provide a big difference in her power bill. Company representatives report they can reduce power consumption by as much as 64 percent.

In addition, the company states the shutters help deter criminal activity.

The filled, rolling aluminum slats can be installed over windows and doors. They are custom-made and can be operated manually or electrically.

Installation is usually done about two weeks after an order is taken.

Throughout the month, the company is offering a free remote control system with every purchase.

The showroom at 6168 W. Charleston Blvd. is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on Saturday.
