Aliante conducts instant-winner promo
Home Fashion Week begins today at the Aliante master-planned community in North Las Vegas, featuring "fashionable fun" for the home and family, according to Kimiko Peterson, community marketing manager. Through next Sunday, visitors 18 and older may visit the community's information gallery, pick up a "scratch 'n' win" card and become instant winners of prizes such as race-car experiences and gift certificates. "We're inviting prospective home buyers to come to Aliante this week and become instant winners in more ways than one," Peterson said. "Along with a great selection of prizes, visitors will be able to take home some valuable tips relating to the style and beauty of their own homes." Next weekend, the event will feature myriad free home-related demonstrations in various model complexes within the community. Led by industry experts, the demonstrations will focus on home fashion, art, cuisine, entertaining, entertainment systems, pet fashions and water conservation. Event schedules are available at the information gallery, which is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to the Interstate 215 east exit. Proceed to the Aliante Parkway exit and go south. The cards will be distributed one per person. There is no purchase necessary to participate. Details are available at the information gallery. Aliante is a development of North Valley Enterprises, an affiliate of American Nevada Co. and Del Webb. Encompassing 1,905 acres, the community consists of a primary village and an age-qualified village. Combined, they will include as many as 7,500 homes. The builders are Astoria Homes, Del Webb, D.R. Horton, Meritage Homes, KB Home, Lennar, Pardee Homes, Pulte Homes and US Home. Prices start from the high $100,000s to the high $600,000s. About 430 acres are designated for recreational and public purposes including the Aliante Golf Club, the 20-acre Nature Discovery Park, two additional city parks, more than 20 miles of lighted trails and linear parks, and an arroyo. Plans call for three schools, the first of which is set to open next year. About 100 acres are allocated for commercial development, including retail and business centers, restaurants and a planned 40-acre resort hotel with gaming.
