Hotel employee checks into first home at Richmond's Cherry Lane

Hotel employee Anne Mulloy shopped around for her first home, and found it at Richmond American's Cherry Lane neighborhood.

"Cherry Lane offered a great price for the house size," Mulloy stated. "The sales agents at Cherry Lane made it very easy for me to move forward and were great at educating me as to what the benefits of the community were."

Located in the southeast, the neighborhood features four, two-story floor plans ranging from 1,327 to 1,803 square feet. Customizing options are available.

Mulloy purchased the 1,657-square-foot Ranier model. Interior amenities include an open great room and a dining room, while the upstairs contains three bedrooms with a loft option or fourth bedroom. The master bath includes an oval tub and walk-in closet. It is priced from the $250,000s.

"The best features of this plan are the great room off the kitchen and the optional loft," Mulloy said. "The basic size is appealing as well -- not too big, not too small."

Also available is the Mahogany, which measures 1,327 square feet and includes a porch with the entry leading into the living room. An island kitchen, dining nook and upstairs laundry room are standard features, while a loft is optional. The price starts from the $220,000s.

The 1,556-square-foot Lambert plan contains a great room, island kitchen, upstairs laundry room, and offers a dual master suite option with a loft or third bedroom. The plan is priced from the $240,000s.

Also available is the 1,803-square-foot Lapin plan, which is highlighted by a porch, great room and media niche. Upstairs, buyers can choose from the option of a second master bedroom, an open bonus room or a fourth bedroom. The design is priced from the $280,000s.

To visit, take U.S. Highway 95 to Tropicana Avenue, go east to Broadbent Boulevard and head south. Proceed to Cherry Street and turn south.

The builder has 30 active subdivisions throughout the Las Vegas Valley.

Sales offices are open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except Friday, when they open at noon.
